I am currently working with a global solar leader who are within a major growth stage. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Transactional Team to support on a range of projects globally.

You will have the opportunity to work on a number of projects that the organisation are embarking on which can include; SAP S/4 Hana implementation, bank reconciliations (the organisation has 600+ bank accounts), Concur Implementation, RPA, PowerBI, procurement, and more! You will also have the opportunity to run and attend workshops, train and manage the testing stages of the projects, and support the team across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Running and attending Workshops and training sessions for projects.
- Supporting the Transformation team to assess opportunities to improve processes within the Transactional team, finance, and the wider business.
- Working with Transaction Team manager and Head of Procurement agree and document roles & responsibilities for specific tasks (e.g., supplier master data management, supplier set up, supplier due diligence, Purchase requisitions, Purchase Order creation, etc.)
- Work with the AP & AR Managers to develop KPI reporting for their teams.
- End to end management of projects, with ownership of one project whilst supporting on other projects.
- Maintaining quality, governance and time scales of each project, pulling together the team to aid successful delivery in line with scope and business objectives.
- Carrying out planning activities by reviewing current processes (AS-IS) and mapping out improved TO-BE processes for all projects, giving recommendations and establishing routine controls.
- Lead the 'to be' process in SAP S/4 HANA working closely with Treasury and IT.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant project management experience and qualification (Prince 2, APM, PMP, PMI, etc...)
- Managed ERP implementations or similar sized projects.
- Expert knowledge of financial processes and controls.
- Good understanding of procurement, finance systems, Treasury and banking platforms.
- Experience of documenting processes, process mapping and providing training.
- Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills at all levels, including, stakeholders, third party vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proactive with a positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Experience of Sun Systems and Proactis (Preferred).
- Experience of SAP S/4 HANA (Preferred).
- Experience of Concur including global implementations (Preferred).
- Excellent MS excel skills including KPI reporting & Power BI (Preferred).
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Excellent Benefits
Location: New York Hybrid ~ 2-3 days per week in office.
